I'm honored to be one of the special guests performing with Arturo O'Farrill's fantastic Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra in an exiting all-Brazilian program. The guest music director is pianist Cliff Korman, and some of the other special guests are Itiberê Zwarg (Hermeto Pascoal's long-time bassist) and woodwind player Paul Lieberman. It will also be a special treat for me to play on an arrangement by my brother, saxophonist Dulcilando "Macaé" Pereira.
